2015 Global Coaching Survey Launches

PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and International Coach Federation partner to conduct most ambitious study of the coaching industry to date

LEXINGTON, Ky., July 9, 2015 /PRNewswire/ — The 2015 Global Coaching Survey, commissioned by the International Coach Federation (ICF) and conducted by PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC) is now open at www.CoachingSurvey2015.com.

The survey is designed to collect vital, up-to-date information on the state of the coaching industry today. ICF and PwC invite professional business and personal coaches from around the world to share their insights and experiences by completing the survey. The survey is open to all professional coaches, regardless of ICF affiliation.

This is the third edition of the Global Coaching Survey. It was previously administered in 2006 and 2011, with findings published in the 2007 ICF Global Coaching Study and 2012 ICF Global Coaching Study. The 2012 study included 12,000 coaches from 117 countries. It revealed the true size and scope of the coaching industry, with an estimated 47,500 professional coaches worldwide contributing to the industry's annual global revenue of $2 billion USD.

"The 2015 Global Coaching Survey is a significant undertaking that will allow us to track trends in professional coaching worldwide as never before," said ICF Global CEO/Executive Director Magdalena Mook. "By replicating the methodology that informed the 2012 ICF Global Coaching Study, we can monitor and analyze the evolution of professional coaching and better understand the needs and concerns of practitioners in our rapidly growing and changing industry. The results will give coaches and the public a clear picture of the state of the industry today."

The survey is currently available in English. In the coming weeks, PwC will launch translated versions of the survey in eight languages:

  • French
  • German
  • Spanish
  • Portuguese
  • Italian
  • Japanese
  • Mandarin
  • Korean

The survey will be open until December 31, 2015.
