Best College Reviews' ranking is the most comprehensive ranking of notable campus theaters to date. The list factored in interior and exterior design, history, use of space, and architectural notability.
"Campus student theaters are often hidden gems, providing excellent theater, music, and event programming that students and members of the community can attend at a low cost. These theaters often aren't as well known regionally as they deserve to be, and so we wanted to put them in the spotlight," said James Arney, chief author and researcher for the list.
