Abbott, who currently pitches for National Pro Fastpitch's (NPF) Chicago Bandits and Team Toyota of the Japanese Pro League, is widely considered one of the top talents in the game. Abbott joins a roster of 3N2 athletes that includes softball legend and ESPN Analyst Michele Smith and US National Team Members and Olympic Medalists Natasha Watley, Lauren Lappin, and Vicky Galindo.
Abbott, who has won three NPF league championships, is among the most recognized players in fastpitch. Her many accolades include being named Collegiate Softball Player of the Year while attending University of Tennessee, two-time NPF League Championship MVP, two-time NPF Pitcher of the Year, and winning a Silver Medal at the Beijing Olympics.
