55% Client Base Expansion Announced by Prescription Benefit Administrator FlexScripts as of January 1, 2014

MILWAUKEE, Nov. 1, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — FlexScripts Administrators, a Prescription Benefit Administrator based in Wauwatosa, WI, is expanding its client base by approximately 55% as of 1/1/14 and is also in conversation to sign two more PBM partners by the end of 2013, making FlexScripts a much more prominent partner in the Self-Funded market.

"By leveraging our book of business, FlexScripts has been able to sign some extremely competitive contracts. We have been able to grow our business because our clients were not receiving the appropriate levels of customer service due to the recent consolidations within the PBM market. With FlexScripts' 'White-Glove Approach,' we are able to give the attention that our clients deserve," states Rob Bigalke, Director of Business Development and Pharmacy Practice Consultant at FlexScripts.

As a result of this growth, FlexScripts will be strengthening its employment base and will be expanding its customer service center hours to better accommodate additional time zones.

About FlexScripts

FlexScripts Administrators is a team of industry experts who fully understand the Pharmacy Benefit market and are solely dedicated to managing pharmacy risk.  We review market pricing annually to ensure our clients benefit from the most competitive contract pricing. Our unique clinical approach allows us to better control pharmacy trends, and ensures the plan is being properly managed.

We analyze and develop rates quarterly, using actuarial factors derived from our own block of business, as well as the millions of claims we load into our data warehouse. We annually review our co-pay and deductible factors to ensure they accurately reflect the value of the plan design.

FlexScripts continuously audits the claims administration process to ensure that both contract pricing and plan design are properly administered by the PBM. We ensure that every dollar an employer spends on their employee pharmacy benefit is being spent in the most cost effective manner. Our audits also satisfy the fiduciary responsibilities of self-funded ERISA plans.
