U.S. Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates and Google's Regional Director of Middle East and North Africa to Address 'Defining the New Paradigm in U.S. – Arab Relations' at C3 Summit in New York

NEW YORK, Sept. 25, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — The 2013 C3 Summit, www.c3s-2013.com, is pleased to announce that Michael Corbin, the United States Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, and Wael Fakharany, regional director for Google's Middle East and North Africa regions, will serve as speaker and keynote speaker, respectively, at the C3 Summit 2013: Defining the New Paradigm in U.S. – Arab Relations.

In partnership with the U.S. Department of Commerce and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the C3 Summit, will be held on Monday, October 7th, at the Union League Club in New York City. It is an exclusive event dedicated to forging new business relationships, fostering existing partnerships, and exchanging best practices by building a cohesive global community with the Arab world through collaboration and international commerce.

By harnessing the powers of the Web to bring about gargantuan economic, social and political changes for the nearly 400 million inhabitants in the Arab region, of which 65% are under the age of 25, Mr. Fakharany will address how the Internet has had nothing short of a Tsunami effect on the most basic way of life in the Arab world, as evident by the still-ongoing Arab Spring.

Ambassador Corbin and Mr. Fakharany headline an outstanding group of speakers with the requisite business expertise to help U.S. and Arab commercial interests reap the mutual benefits of each region's economic and trade opportunities. Many of the most prestigious business leaders, policy-makers, educators, and civil society members, from across the globe, will discuss the tenets of community, collaboration, and commerce during this important moment between these two pivotal regions.

In fact, C3 Summit is considered so timely and mission critical, it is the first-ever, non-government event to be placed on the home page of the Government's website http://www.export.gov
