Host travel agency's former Independent Affiliate to work in new Florida office
SAN DIEGO, Oct. 3, 2007 — America's Vacation Center (AVC), one of the leading host travel agencies in North America and beyond, today announced that Steve Hirshan, formerly an AVC Independent Affiliate, will be joining AVC's professional support team as a full-time employee. Working from AVC's new Florida office, Steve will assist Independent Affiliates with training through America's Vacation Center University(TM), JoinAVC(TM), the My AVC Mentor(TM) program, AVC Regional Chapters(TM), and Sales Support, which includes AVC's exclusive Live Leads(TM) program.
Hirshan, a veteran of the travel industry for more than 20 years, is a tremendous addition to the AVC (http://www.JoinAVC.com) team. His experience encompasses extensive leadership positions for travel agencies and cruise lines including seven years as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for MSC Cruises. As an AVC Independent Affiliate for the past two years, Hirshan has helped AVC expand its role as a pacesetter in the industry by guiding both the My AVC Mentor program and the AVC Regional Chapter program to great success.
