Announcing ISMPP EU 2010 – the First European Meeting of the International Society for Medical Publication Professionals, Royal College of Physicians, London, UK, January 20, 2010

BRIARCLIFF MANOR, N.Y., Dec. 15, 2009 — On January 20th, 2010, the inaugural European meeting of the International Society for Medical Publication Professionals (ISMPP) will be held at the Royal College of Physicians in London, UK. More than 100 attendees are expected at this prestigious event, providing a new forum for publication professionals, editors, publishers, medical writers and medical agencies to discuss the changing world of medical publications and the impact of guidelines and regulations such as GPP-2, FDAAA and impending clinical trial disclosure legislation in Europe.

As Al Weigel, President of ISMPP, noted, "Medical publication planning, regardless of where you reside, must be approached from an international perspective.
