Desalitech Company Profile

Desalitech was founded by Professor Avi Efraty under the name "Advanced Desalination Technologies" as a platform for the development and commercialization of his innovative closed circuit reverse osmosis desalination technologies. After receiving exceptional reviews on international patent applications and obtaining outstanding experimental results during test trails and pilot runs, the company was activated under the leadership of Nadav Efraty to make its solutions available for diverse commercial applications in expanding global markets. The investment and subsequent engagement of AquAgro Fund, one of the leading holding companies in the Israeli water sector, greatly contributed to the development of the company. Desalitech deployed its first commercial units in early 2009 and has commissioned several desalination units of up to 1,500 m3/day since. Desalitech is currently working on and promoting many additional RO projects, including several over 10,000 m3/day, with or through strategic partners.
