Marketing and Engineering Solutions (MES) Inc. was initially founded by Hiten Shah, as a sales representation business. Today, MES, Inc. has grown to become a full-service provider of supply chain management and low cost country sourcing services. We currently have offices in Columbus, Ohio, India (Mumbai), and China (Ningbo and Shenzhen) and we source engineered components from India, China, Australia, Taiwan and Malaysia. We are looking at sourcing from capable vendors from Vietnam in 2013. From our main office in Columbus, Ohio, we continue to grow our ability to help you realize the savings and benefits of Low Cost Country Sourcing (LCCS). We help many North American manufacturers by managing the total outsourced manufacturing process so their products are delivered in a timely and efficient manner, reducing overhead in many areas. MES now has a talented group of six sigma engineers, sourcing experts, quality inspectors and supply chain managers to manage our continued growth and maintain best-in-class metrics for our business. Using our sourcing resources in China and India, we have also started several new businesses: Desi Investments – Desi Investments major role is to manage all the real estate and warehousing locations for MES. MES Hongkong Pvt Ltd – MES Hongkong is a wholly owned subsidiary of MES. It is based in Hongkong and facilitates many exports out of Hongkong as well as financial invesments in India and Taiwan. Ningbo Metrics Trading Company Limited – This is a WOFE firm established in Ningbo, China. It’s charter is to hire sourcing managers and quality inspectors and engineers to help manage all the sourcing from China, perform supplier audits and inspections and support all the shipping / logistics operations. MES India Pvt Ltd – MES India is our Indian counterpart to Ningbo Metrics Trading Company. We have offices in Mumbai and Rajkot. Our sourcing managers and quality engineers help all the sourcing, supplier audits and shipping operations and task from India. MEDGEN, LLC – Medgen was formed in 2012 leveraging our sourcing operations in Shenzhen. Medgen is focused on supplying medical, general and wound care products to medical offices, dental offices, nursing homes and hospitals. It sells primarily through a network of sales representatives. We warehouse and distribute a variety of branded products from Taiwan, Malaysia and China. We utilize two warehousing locations near Mumbai and have an office in Mumbai. It is developing its web portal and by January’ 2013, will start selling its products on e-commerce platform.
