Promise Monsters Company Profile

Promise Monsters started with a drawing of a monster (see it on the right?). It hung in an office cube for months until we finally decided it was just too good to stay stuck on a wall. So we took the monster - and others that our kids drew (there were dozens and dozens!) - and we drew them on cards, wrote kind messages on them (I Promise You'll Be OK!), then hid them all over the place - in banks, video stores, restaurants, and parks. When people found the cards they wrote to us, and told us how much they loved the monsters and how their days were made better. So we kept on going. We made stickers and posters and complicated kind missions ... and eventually we found ourselves with the monsters and acts of kindness you find here on this site. All of the drawings, monsters, and lettering on this website are created and drawn by the kids. The kids also help to create and test all the missions and monsters and rewards that we offer. All of the plush monsters we sell are designed and sewn with care in our local shop in Indianapolis, Indiana. We're really proud of this, and of the people who help us make them! And most importantly, all of our products are meant to make someone's day just a little better - and we sincerely hope they've done just that for you.
