BestMastersPrograms.org Identifies the World's 50 Most Amazing University Libraries

SAN ANTONIO, Jan. 16, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — BestMastersPrograms.org has published a list entitled "The 50 Most Amazing University Libraries in the World," including facilities in North America, Europe, Asia and Africa. The website's editors selected the libraries to present a curated listing of their favorite college and university library buildings boasting unique, beautiful or intriguing architecture. The list is the largest of its kind, featuring specialized libraries like the Thomas Fisher Rare Book Library at the University of Toronto, Philological Library of the Free University, Beinecke Rare Book and Manuscript Library at Yale University, Meskill Law Library at the University of Connecticut, University of Michigan Law Library, Fisher Fine Arts Library at the University of Pennsylvania, Pitts Theology Library at Emory University, and Suzzallo Library's Graduate Reading Room at the University of Washington.

The list also showcases a variety of European libraries, including the Magdalen College Old Library at Oxford University, University of Salamanca Library, Old Library at St. John's College of Cambridge University, Jacob-und-Wilhelm-Grimm-Zentrum at Humboldt University, Brotherton Library at the University of Leeds, Central Library at the University of Technology, Duke Humfrey's Library in the Bodleian Library at the University of Oxford, Catholic University of Leuven Library, La Sorbonne Reading Room at the University of Paris, Trinity College Library/The Long Room, Heidelberg University Library, Pompeu Fabra University Library, Pontifical Lateran University Library, The University of Helsinki Library (currently the National Library of Finland), The University of Coimbra General Library, Jozsef Attila Study and Information Centre at the University of Szeged, and Galway Mayo Institute Of Technology Library.
