Earnhardt joined Team Wilson Driver Development program run by dirt and ARCA racing veteran Frank Wilson, Jr. last summer and began by testing a dirt late model provided by Freddie Carpenter of Kryptonite Race Cars.

A highlight of the 2013 ARCA Truck Series for Earnhardt was a 5th place finish at Winchester Speedway in Winchester, Indiana.  Earnhardt went a lap down early but came back by the end of the race and had arguably the fastest truck on the track and was running right with the leaders.

Another highlight was an 8th place finish in front of Earnhardt's "adopted hometown" crowd at Ona Speedway in Ona, West Virginia.  Ona Speedway's grounds have held the biggest names in racing history running the ARCA Racing Series in the late 1960s.  "I ran up front early in the race but by the end I had no grip left, I was sliding it through every corner and the crowd was on their feet.  It was an awesome feeling to put on a show like that," exclaimed Earnhardt.

"Bobby Dale has been a great ambassador for the series," says ARCA Truck Series chairman Tom Cumbow.  "He's been very gracious with the fans and fellow competitors.  He is a competitive racer and is still in the running for Most Popular Driver.   He has earned much respect from almost everyone who has come in contact with him through the ARCA Truck Series."

"It's been a year of triumph and tribulation but I couldn't be where I am without the help of Chavela Simmons my manager and owner of All-N-One Pawn and Drive-In Barber Shop in Charleston, West Virginia.  She's been a friend and confidant and to her I am truly grateful," said Earnhardt.  "I also would like to thank Frank Wilson, Jr. for given me a lot of his time and patience and has taught me a lot about driving."

Bobby Dale is currently putting together a schedule for 2014 and can be contacted @ BobbyDaleEarnhardt.com.  "I'm working towards getting the funds and taking on new sponsorships to do a full NASCAR K&N Pro East Series schedule in 2014.  It's extremely competitive and another good place to learn as I continue to work my way up to the Cup Series," added Earnhardt.
