BPI's AgencyFinder Launches New Initiative to Identify New and Emerging Advertising Agencies and Marketing Firms in the US

A 90-day free trial registration is available through The Ad Agency Safari program

RICHMOND, Va., July 30, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — AgencyFinder.com, the advertising industry's leading online advertiser and marketing firm matchmaking service announces the launch of its first-ever Ad Agency Safari, an effort designed to identify and recruit new and emerging advertising agencies, PR firms and marketing service companies started in the last three years. Firms that sign up during the "Safari" will be given a 90-day, no-cost trial registration of AgencyFinder's services and free, new business phone consultations with AgencyFinder's in-house consulting staff.  The "Safari" will run through October 31, 2013.

Advertising and PR Industry statistics suggest the universe of long-time established firms in SIC 7311 (Ad agencies & counselors) plus those in SIC 8743 (Public Relations) number anywhere from 15,000 to 32,000 in the US alone.  But in a recent review of agencies listed on major online directories, as many as 30% of the firms were either out of business or had merged with other firms.

According to AgencyFinder's Chairman and CEO, Chuck Meyst, the industry's dynamic nature and focus on clients can be a challenge. He explains: "Week after week, regardless of the economy, advertising agencies and marketing firms of all size and type shutter their doors and slip away while nobody is looking. By custom, agencies seldom brand their work, so when they fold most people don't even notice they're gone.

"It's often the demise of these firms that gives rise to the birth of new marketing firms, who then face the arduous task of raising their profile, gaining acceptance and most important – winning new clients."  Meyst adds: "I'm often asked how a new, undercapitalized marketing firm can claim their stake in the competitive world of advertising and marketing.  We can help, but first we need to find the firms and bring them on-board our AgencyFinder search and selection database."

"That's what prompted us to embark on our Ad Agency Safari campaign," continues Meyst. "A safari is 'a journey or expedition, for hunting, exploration, or investigation' and we're hunting for any new or emerging marketing firms (born January 2010 or later) that want and need exposure and new business."

Applicants are invited to register for free on the AgencyFinder website.  The program includes a 90-day Free "Trial Registration" (never before offered) and our always no-cost new business staff consulting for those who register. This program runs through October 31, 2013.

AgencyFinder has been introducing and pairing advertisers with marketing firms (ad agencies, integrated firms, digital & interactive, public relations, etc.) for 16 years. It's digital platform and powerful search algorithms have enabled advertisers with budgets from less than $100,000 to $200 million to find and hire suitable credentialed agencies. It's their discriminate search engine that brings qualified candidates to the surface, and that process works flawlessly for long-registered agencies as well as brand new registrants.

"Clients and agencies attest to the quality and success of our service and are particularly pleased that we do the heavy lifting, so they get to do the 'enjoyable' parts," concludes Meyst.
