BRONX, N.Y., Nov. 6, 2012 /PRNewswire/ — The Bronx Chamber of Commerce has honored Joe Deglomini, principal of Simone Development Companies, as one of eight executives, community leaders and elected officials presented the 2012 Italian Heritage Month Leadership Award. The ceremony was held at the F & J Pine Tavern on Bronxdale Avenue in the Bronx.

The annual event, sponsored this year by Hudson Valley Bank and Verizon, honors outstanding community leaders of Italian descent. In addition to Mr. Deglomini, this year's honorees included New York State Comptroller Thomas P. DiNapoli, New York State Assemblyman Michael Benedetto, New York City Councilman James Vacca, Tony Signorile of the Bronx Columbus Day Parade, Geri Sciortino of The Bronx Design Group, Anthony Mormile of Mahopac National Bank and Rosemary DeLuca of the Wildlife Conservation Society.
