My Best Little Buddy Opens Online Book Signing Events to Benefit More Animal Rescues Nationwide; Donating 40% Profits from Online Events

40% Profit from Each 72 Hour Online Book Signing Split Between Nashville Cat Rescue and a Second Co-Sponsoring Rescue

NASHVILLE, Tenn., March 30, 2015 /PRNewswire/ — In a unique and creative effort to expand nationwide, My Best Little Buddy author Tom Templeman has opened up his 72 Hour Online Book Signing Events to now benefit two rescues each event.  40% of the profits from each book signed and sold by the self-published author will be split between Nashville Cat Rescue, and a second co-sponsoring rescue that will be rotated each event.  Templeman has opened this to any interested nonprofit animal rescue in the USA who would like to participate in an event, and a number of rescues have already signed up for an event.

"I have opened the online events so other rescues can also get 20% profit," says Templeman. "Each weekend, I would have another rescue or shelter to co-sponsor that weekend. All they would need to do is just promote their weekend via social media, email, word of mouth, etc. On that weekend, they would get 20% profit from each book just like Nashville Cat Rescue, so I would be giving 40% profit between them per book."

This is open to any rescue or shelter in the USA to participate. Here is how the Online Book Signing Events work:

The co-sponsoring group, Nashville Cat Rescue and the author will promote the upcoming event through social media, word of mouth, Facebook events and posts, etc.

During the event, buyers go to the book's website at www.mybestlittlebuddy.com, and place their order using the PayPal powered 'Buy Now' button on the front page. There is a notes area on the buy page where they can request a special dedication in the book if desired. At the end of the event, the author signs and mails the books first-class to the recipients. At the end of the month they would receive a copy of the month's sales, with their weekend highlighted and a check for the amount they are due.

The first event, co-sponsored by Freedom Farms, took place on March 20-22 and went very smoothly.  Six other rescues have already signed up for events:

April 10-12, co-sponsored by Second Chance Farms, Gainesville, FL
April 17-19, co-sponsored by Tabby's Place – A Cat Sanctuary, Ringoes, NJ
May 1-3, co-sponsored by A Forever Home Rescue Foundation, Chantilly, VA
May 23-25, co-sponsored by San Diego Humane Society, San Diego, CA
June 12-14, co-sponsored by Atlanta Pet Rescue and Adoption, Atlanta, GA
June 26-28, co-sponsored by Seal Beach Animal Care Center, Seal Beach, CA

Templeman would like to add two more events per month in July through December. Any interested rescues may inquire by emailing him at mybestlittlebuddy@gmail.com.
