After graduating from Indiana University, Nora returned to Washington DC where she spent her early career in legal support, including five years as a federal public servant with the United States District Court. A proud native of Prince George's County, Nora grew up in Cheverly, attended Eleanor Roosevelt High School, and lives in the Greenbelt Homes Cooperative. She is studying to be a registered nurse and devotes her leisure time to running, singing in choir, watching soccer, and cooking for friends.
