Cellar Angels to Partner with Sonoma-Cutrer® for Series of Online Wine Events

Cellar Angels will offer limited Sonoma-Cutrer product sale to help raise funds for charity

SONOMA, Calif. and CHICAGO, Sept. 27, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — Cellar Angels announces a partnership with Sonoma County based winery Sonoma-Cutrer® to provide exclusive purchase opportunities for Cellar Angels' members and charity partners. Cellar Angels is a rapidly growing cause-based Internet wine company providing members privileged access to wines rarely available in the retail market. Membership in Cellar Angels is complimentary and available at http://www.cellarangels.com. The sale for members only will run from November 5, 2013 to November 10, 2013.

Cellar Angels began in 2010 as a unique way to connect acclaimed Napa Valley and Sonoma County wineries and "cult wines" with consumers while simultaneously raising funds for some extraordinary causes. Among the growing list of charities members are able to select include The V Foundation, Generation Rescue, Leeza's Place and Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation.

"When you have an opportunity to work with and feature one of the greatest wineries in the country, you do what it takes to make it happen," said Martin Cody, Cellar Angels' founder and president. "Sonoma-Cutrer's dedication to producing world-class wines for over thirty years and making certain the wines are reflective of both time and place, is just one of the many attributes of their greatness. We think our members are in for a real treat and the ultimate winner will be our charity partners."

Cellar Angels upholds meticulous standards and works to provide a greater wine experience to their members. Sonoma-Cuter offers Cellar Angels' members exclusive savings on wines, a behind-the-scenes custom movie of the featured winery with personal interviews, tasting notes, recipe pairing and perks including private calls from the winemaker. Additionally, members have the rare opportunity to select a charity to donate a portion of their proceeds towards which Cellar Angels calls the Sip, Save, Give program.

"We're excited to partner with an organization like Cellar Angels that has such an exemplary philanthropic mission and that gives people an exclusive opportunity to experience our winery in a personal way," said Tracy Thornsberry, Sonoma-Cutrer Brand Manager.

With a focus on the production of world-class Chardonnay, Sonoma-Cutrer has been crafting wines since 1981 in the esteemed Russian River Valley growing region of Sonoma County, California. Sonoma-Cutrer Vineyards utilizes a unique chilling tunnel to air cool its grapes, and the wines are aged in barrels made of specific French oak trees that are individually-selected to the winemakers' needs.

Cellar Angels has not announced which wine varietal will be featured beginning November 5th but Cody hints, "rest assured, this will be THE wine to have on the Thanksgiving table."
