Combat Veterans For Congress Political Action Committee: Southeast Region Director Appointed

ORLANDO, Fla., Dec. 5, 2011 — Will Breazeale has been appointed to the position of Southeast Region Director. He will be responsible for candidate recruitment, public relations and fundraising in 10 states: North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas, Louisiana and Texas. Mr. Breazeale is a highly decorated Combat Veteran with over 22 years of service with the United States Army Reserve and is one of 54 endorsed Combat Veterans For Congress. He serves as a Battalion Commander of a Training Support Battalion in the Army Reserve and works full-time as Captain of a Boeing 737-700 for Airtran Airways with over 9,000 hours of flight time. He holds the rank of Lieutenant Colonel and has been awarded the Bronze Star for service in Iraq during one of his three deployments to the region. He is also a former Congressional candidate, winning the Republican nomination to Congress (District 7-NC) in 2008, and he has served as a delegate to the Republican National Convention in 2008. He resides in Orlando, Florida with his wife and three children. He was born and raised in Florence, SC and has lived in Rock Hill SC, El Paso TX, Savannah GA, Hinesville GA, Eastman GA, Columbia SC, Allen TX, Knoxville TN, White Lake NC and Wilmington NC (6 of the 10 states in his region). Lt Col Breazeale is actively recruiting Combat Veterans to run For Congress regardless of party affiliation; the candidates must have served the Republic in combat, must have the capacity & common sense to govern, and must endorse the Combat Veterans For Congress Mission Statement listed below.

MISSION STATEMENT

"The Combat Veterans For Congress PAC is dedicated to supporting the election of fiscally conservative Combat Veterans to Congress. We seek Combat Veterans running For Congress who believe in limited government, will rein in the out of control spending of Congress, are committed to preserving and defending the U.S. Constitution, and will support the independence and freedom of the individual as outlined in the Bill of Rights. We support Combat Veterans For Congress who are dedicated to promoting The Free Enterprise System creating the greatest economic engine in the history of mankind, provide for a strong national defense, and will endorse the teaching of U.S. history and the Founding Fathers' core values in educational institutions."

In August 2009, the Combat Veterans For Congress PAC was formed. Over a 16-month period the PAC communicated with over 200 Combat Veterans in 50 states, reviewed their backgrounds, verified that they were in fact Combat Veterans, and endorsed 46 Combat Veterans For Congress in 24 states. 27 endorsed Combat Veterans For Congress in 19 states won their primary races. In the 2010 mid-term election, the PAC contributed greatly to the election of 12 of the 27 endorsed Combat Veterans For Congress who previously won their primary races.
