Corporate Whistleblower Center Now Urges Former Contractors Providing Services to the DOD in Afghanistan or Iraq to Call Them about Rewards If They Possess Proof of Multi-Million Dollar Fraud

WASHINGTON, Feb. 9, 2016 /PRNewswire/ — The Corporate Whistleblower Center is urging a former or current employee of a subcontractor to the United States Department of Defense or other federal agencies to contact them at 866-714-6466 if they possess well documented proof of overbilling or fraud involving US taxpayer dollars in Afghanistan or Iraq. As The Center would like to explain as long as the wrongdoing or fraud exceeds a million dollars the whistleblower rewards can be substantial.

The Center believes tens of billions of dollars have been wasted by US contractors in Afghanistan and Iraq in the form of overbilling the DOD or the US federal government for work that was never done, for building projects that were never completed, and for transportation costs with no strings attached with respect to transportation contractor actually delivering the equipment or supplies that were supposed to be delivered. http://CorporateWhistleblowerCenter.Com

The Corporate Whistleblower Center says, "We are especially interested in hearing from employees of DOD subcontractors who have the following types of information about waste, fraud, or overbilling the US taxpayers in Afghanistan or Iraq:"

  • Subcontractors to the DOD who grossly overbilled for hours involving training of the Afghanistan National Army (ANA), or the Iraq Army. This must be well documented information that is related to something that has occurred within the last four years. Example-A training, or security contractor billed the US Department of Defense for 8000 hours for one month of training, or security when the training or security detail only consisted of 10 trainers, or security contractors.
  • Subcontractors to LOGCAP in Afghanistan or Iraq that either did not deliver the equipment, or supplies per the terms of their contract, and or they knowingly withheld information about millions of dollars of stolen equipment or supplies to the DOD.
  • Subcontractors to the DOD or other US federal agencies that were under contract to build structures, hospitals, schools, or infrastructure that never completed the work – even though the subcontractor was paid in full – as if the project was completed in Iraq or Afghanistan.
  • Subcontractors who paid off/bribed local Afghanistan or Iraq political officials to get preferential treatment on DOD contracts.

The Center says, "If you possess this type of information, and the fraud or overbilling exceeds one million dollars please call us at 866-714-6466 so we can explain to you how the whistleblower process works, as well as what the reward potential could be. As we would like to explain we help potential whistleblowers package their information and in doing so hopefully we add significant value. If we can establish the information is solid enough we will also make suggestions about who might be the most qualified whistleblower lawyers in the nation to advance this type of whistleblower claim." http://CorporateWhistleblowerCenter.Com

Simple rules for a whistleblower from the Corporate Whistleblower Center: "Do not go to the government first if you are a major whistleblower. Whistleblowers frequently go to the federal government thinking they will help. It's a huge mistake. Do not go to the news media with your whistleblower information. Public revelation of a whistleblower's information could destroy any prospect for a reward. Never try to force a government contractor or corporation to come clean to the government about their wrongdoing."

Any type of insider or employee who possesses significant proof of their employer or a government contractor defrauding the federal government is encouraged to contact Corporate Whistleblower Center anytime at 866-714-6466 or via their web site. http://CorporateWhistleblowerCenter.Com
