About The Christian Service Center of Central Florida

The Christian Service Center of Central Florida was established in 1971 as a means to provide assistance for individuals and families in need of physical, emotional or spiritual help. All of their programs have availability for volunteer service and with 7,000 participating businesses volunteering their time, these programs are only growing.

One of these programs that provides assistance for those in need is called Daily Bread. This successful program was established in 1975 with the goal that no person in Central Florida would struggle with hunger. Forty years later, this program has served over 4 million meals. With the help of local businesses and volunteers, like those at A Courteous Communications, they are able to prepare and serve meals 6 days a week with an average of 550 meals provided per day.

About A Courteous Communications

A Courteous Communications was established in 1986 in a small office located in the heart of Central Florida. What started as a small answering service with just one client has now turned into a major corporation with thousands of clients throughout the nation. Their team of virtual receptionists is the best in the business and provides all of their callers with award winning customer service skills. Not only does the company provide answering service solutions, they are also no strangers to volunteering with outreach programs within their community.

One of these such programs is the 'Daily Bread". On October 20, 2015, 9 of their virtual receptionists, led by A Courteous' Vice President Jean Pearson, volunteered their time to serve meals to the hungry and homeless of Orlando. They were able to serve over 400 people that afternoon and couldn't have been more thrilled.

Jean Pearson spoke passionately about her staff and the day's events as well:

"This past Tuesday we had the opportunity to work with the Christian Service Center of Central Florida. Our team worked together and served over 400 meals. This is an incredible feeling to know that the employees of A Courteous Communications have given their time willingly to help others. It is such a blessing to be able to participate and volunteer to help others and have your employees say, 'thank you for the opportunity.' It is always rewarding to see the smiles on the faces of those that we helped and see the gratitude that they feel."
