Owner taps into trend for shared neighborhood workspace
AUSTIN, Texas, March 31, 2015 /PRNewswire/ — Orange Coworking opens this week as the nineteenth workspace in Austin and the first south of 290/Ben White, an area tagged by locals as "Way South Awesome." As a membership-based workspace catering to the small business community of entrepreneurs, freelancers and consultants, Orange opens April 2. The location is two doors west of the H-E-B Grocery located at Slaughter Lane and Manchaca Road.

Coworking spaces nationwide have grown in number by 43% in the last year, according to a DeskMag annual survey, with the majority located in downtown/urban areas. According to the same survey, 75% of people working in a coworking space report an increase in earnings as a result.
Orange Coworking provides a professional shared work environment with support services and meeting areas, for members who want the advantages of working close to home with gigabit fiber wireless internet, a variety of ergonomic furniture and work settings, private meeting rooms, a craft room, and a large meeting space/classroom for up to 40 people. Rates are based on frequency of use, ranging from $75 per month for one day per week to $400 per month for full-time access.
