Dade County Federal Credit Union Streamlines Operations with Print Hardware Upgrade from Mosaic Business Solutions

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., May 1, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — Mosaic Business Solutions, a leading  provider of managed print services and office products, today completed the first round of a company-wide printer and copier refresh for Dade County Federal Credit Union (DCFCU).  The fourth largest credit union in Florida has been a Mosaic client since 2010 and is now improving the technology infrastructure in all of its branch locations.  The new installation from Mosaic will significantly reduce DCFCU's operational expenses as well as create an improved service and supply stream through the standardization of equipment and processes structured by Mosaic Business.

The installation of the latest Hewlett Packard top rated devices began last week.  Mosaic has worked closely with DCFCU's Senior Vice President of Planning and Development, Marla Ferreira and Vice President of Information Technology, Paul Mahler on the project.

It is estimated that service calls will be reduced by over 30% and the new process will create vast improvements to speed, functionality, and end user productivity.  The new equipment utilizes the latest in print technology including HP's e-Print, Quick Sets for one-touch workflows, and HP EveryPage with ultrasonic technology.  This is the first step in the migration of the entire DCFCU fleet to an EcoSmart fleet.

For the past 3 years, Mosaic has worked closely with DCFCU in the development of a long term managed print strategy that controls the growth of costs over time while setting goals for continuous improvement through Mosaic's specialized QBR (quarterly business review) process.  Furthermore, the printer refresh strategy and schedule ensure that DCFCU receives world class technology while utilizing competitive HP promotions to control hardware acquisition costs.
