The winners will be announced at this year's awards gala on November 21st at the Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay. The other two Excellence in Service finalists are Peak10 and CareerSource.

The TBTF has helped put a spot light on the technology industry in Tampa Bay for eleven years by honoring the best of the best at their annual Industry Achievement Awards Gala. Each year the TBTF selects three finalists for each of the eight award categories (four individual awards and four company awards) and announces the winners at their black-tie gala. The award categories include: Emerging Technology Company of the Year, Technology Company of the Year, Excellence in Service, Innovative Project of the Year, CIO of the Year, Student Intern of the Year, Technology Leader of the Year and Young Professional of the Year.

Companies and individuals must be nominated and then complete a number of essay questions for each qualified category in order to complete the application process. Some qualification criteria include: must operate business in Florida, a specific amount of time the company has been in business based on eligible categories, their impact on the region and employment status for the individual awards.
