As Chief Experience Officer, Connors will work to improve the WebKite product for potential WebKite customers. "Defining a set of products based on WebKite technology and its application for customers that works elegantly and simply is my main goal," Connors said. "WebKite's technology is compelling because it so neatly solves such a common use case not particularly well addressed in the marketplace."

"Having someone as experienced as Chris Connors on board will only strengthen the WebKite product," Founder and CEO Eric Silver said. "With over a thousand sites on the WebKite platform, we've shown that it works.  Chris is joining to help us make it even easier to get started and make data-focused publishing accessible to the masses."

Before joining WebKite, Connors was the Lead Interaction Designer at Apple for Keynote '09, Numbers for iPad, Numbers for iCloud, and iWork.com. At NASA, Connors was a Senior Research Associate at the Ames Research Center in Mountain View, California.  He worked to design the next-generation of software tools for extra-planetary robotic geology, data collection tools, and scheduling tools for human/robotic collaboration.

Most recently Connors was the Interaction Design Director for Daedalus, a product design and development consultancy in the East End of Pittsburgh.

"I'm really looking forward to working with a team of this calibre, on a product with this kind of potential, in a growing region with so much to offer," Connors said.

Connors joins the Pittsburgh-based executive team of Peter Meulbroek, who held leadership roles at Yahoo, Lockerz, and AdKeeper, and Founder/CEO Eric Silver, who was CMO of ModCloth.
