Murphy brings to Delta Point a wealth of experience based on his 17-year career with AstraZeneca, one of the world's leading pharmaceutical companies. Murphy's ability to institute change and deliver results has been demonstrated throughout his career, winning numerous awards with each position in sales, sales leadership, and training. His keen insight about how to sell and translate that into results was demonstrated early in his career as a sales specialist. When Murphy became the sales manager of a district that was ranked in the bottom 10%, his ability to motivate others and focus on customer excellence resulted in his team's growth, achieving a national ranking in the top 20%. As a training manager, Murphy was responsible for setting a new standard of accountability for new product launches and co-promotions with other organizations.
Murphy earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Organization and Development from LeMoyne College in Syracuse, NY, where his dedication to excellence was instilled. Murphy adds, "I always strive to excel and enjoy helping others achieve results beyond their current expectations. Although Delta Point's corporate office is located in Scottsdale, AZ, Murphy will be based in the Malvern, PA office, located near many of the top life sciences executive offices.
