ROCHESTER, N.Y., July 19, 2016 /PRNewswire/ — The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) SBIR/STTR Programs has released the second of three videos in its highly anticipated series focused exclusively on writing winning Phase I grant applications in response to DOE's SBIR/STTR Funding Opportunity Announcements (FOAs). The series, Successful DOE SBIR/STTR Proposal Writing Tips, highlights three small high-tech R&D companies from across the United States, each with extensive DOE grant writing experience.
The second video was released today and showcases Compact Membrane Systems, a small business located in Newport, Delaware, which takes a unique and well thought out approach to developing its DOE SBIR/STTR applications. The video, which can be viewed at http://www.dawnbreaker.com/doephase0/cms.php, is part of a 3-video series that aims to dissect the complex process of reviewing topics and developing a responsive application to these highly competitive grants.

In this video, the father/daughter team of Dr. Stuart Nemser, Founder and Chairman of CMS, and Dr. Erica Nemser, CEO of CMS, address questions such as – What are the steps you take once a topic is released? How do you devise a successful project work plan? And how do you form your Phase I team?
