Dream Big America Announces Week's Startup Winner

LitterZap Wins Pitch Competition, Next Set Of Startup Contestants Announced

KANSAS CITY, Mo., Sept. 15, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — Dream Big America (www.DreamBigAmerica.us), powered by Sprint (www.Sprint.com), the first-ever "reality radio show" hosting a weekly startup pitch competition, announces LitterZap as this past week's winner. Dream Big America also reveals the competition's September 19 startup contestants.

LitterZap, invented by Stewart Lovenvirth, is the first motion activated, self-sterilizing litter box utilizing UV light. Lovenvirth is a New Jersey native who is now based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He plans to donate a portion of LitterZap's proceeds to charities such as the Humane Society and The Wounded Warrior Project.

On Friday, September 12, three more startups pitched their startup businesses on Dream Big America to the national listening audience. The three competing companies include Knuckler Racket, Hard Shell Suitcase Caddy, and TrackBill. Each of these startups are vying for America's votes and support.

Audio recordings of each two minute pitch and more information about the contestants can be found on the Dream Big America website (www.DreamBigAmerica.us). Supporters have the opportunity to vote for their favorite startup company on the website or by texting 'DBA' to 612-22-DREAM (612-223-7326). The voting period ends Wednesday, September 17 at midnight ET. The startup that receives the highest number of votes will join LitterZap in the Finals Round on September 26th.

Knuckle Racket (www.KnuckleRacket.com), based in Miami, FL is the only boxing racket in the world. It can be used as a fitness tool or to play a game against a component. Knuckle Racket was presented by owner Jose Castillo.

Hard Shell Suitcase Caddy, presented by inventor Ricky Ehrgott from Tampa, Florida, is a travel accessory that keeps belongings organized and travelers' hands free.

Finally, TrackBill (www.TrackBill.com) presented by co-founder Steven Marciniak, is the perfect solution for government affairs professionals to search, track, and report on legislation in the US Congress and 50 state legislatures. TrackBill is a St.Louis-based company with an office in Washington D.C.
