The competition, which will be guest-judged by Kim Barnouin of Skinny Bitch, is a Holiday-inspired recipe competition that will reward innovative plant-based dessert recipes using Earth Balance products. The grand prize winner will receive a Mile High Vegan Vacation, a year's supply of Earth Balance products, Whole Foods Market Gift Cards, and more.
One grand prize winner will receive a Mile High Vegan Vacation for two including full airfare to Denver, Colorado, accommodations at the St. Julien Hotel and Spa in Earth Balance's hometown of Boulder, car rental, $1,000 in spending money, and a slate of action-packed vegan activities including meals, a cooking lesson, a year's supply of Earth Balance products, and a chance to tour the Earth Balance offices. In addition, four weekly winners will receive a $50 Whole Foods Market gift card and a year's supply of Earth Balance products, and four category winners will get the chance to win a year's supply of Earth Balance and a $150 Whole Foods Market gift card. A Pinspiration winner, an individual selected for their unique bake-off inspired Pinterest board, will receive a $150 Whole Foods Market gift card. Finally, one of the first 100 entrants will be selected to win a $400 Whole Foods Market gift card.
The 2013 Holiday Bake-Off is the fourth such competition hosted by Earth Balance and was designed to showcase the versatility and creative potential of the full line of plant-based products from Earth Balance.
