NEWARK, N.J., June 2, 2006 — Do you ever get "confirmation angst"? You know, that strange sick feeling which comes from being unable to confirm that your motion was filed timely? Or served timely? Is it lying in the back seat of some courier's car or underneath a huge pile on a clerk's desk? You worked all night to get this done and if it doesn't get on the calendar today you're in deep trouble. OK, relax. In a few days you can call the court, or check their web site to see that it made it. But of course, by that time it will be too late to do anything about it if it didn't make it. Besides there are plenty of other things to obsess about in the meantime.
