Orangethorpe Elementary Running Club creates positive, encouraging after-school environment for lower-income children

Orangethorpe Elementary Running Club will be the beneficiary of Endorphin Warrior's charitable efforts. The company will provide a club tee shirt for each member, as well as paying the entry fee for each club member to participate in a local 5K race. Endorphin Warrior merchandise will be given to club members as rewards for achieving certain milestones. Physical Education teacher Pam Weed started the running club to give lower-income children something constructive to do in the after-school hours. Approximately 50 children participate in the club, which instills positive values such as perseverance, hard work and dedication. Endorphin Warrior hopes to be an instrumental partner in preparing these children for a lifetime of health and wellbeing.
