FastTrack RTW Services & Solutions Announces Addition of Advanced Filtering Capabilities to Life Waiver Tools, Allowing Carriers to More Effectively Manage Claims

FastTrack's Life Waiver Tools now provides Life Insurance Waiver of Premium Operations with technology that automatically matches claimant's "own occupation," "related occupation" and "any occupation" with carrier-adjustable levels of "gainful employment," enabling a significantly advanced claim adjudication outcome

BEDMINSTER, N.J., April 9, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — FastTrack RTW Services & Solutions, a division of Kamine Technology Group, LLC, today announced a significant enhancement to its Life Waiver Tools.  Life Waiver Tool's new advanced filtering capability allows waiver of premium operations with the ability to match claimant's "own occupation," "related occupations" or "any occupation" designations, as underwritten to their contractual provisions, with carrier adjustable levels of "gainful employment" criteria. Thus, for a claimant who for example is an engineering professional, Life Waiver Tools will first look under "own occ" designation and then will look at any other occupations considered gainful within the claimant's current restrictions and limitations and contractual provisions.

This enhanced technology will allow carriers to more proactively manage their waiver of premium risk for both new claims as well as their existing block. Results to date have shown significant reserve reductions and operational efficiencies.

Sean Rutherford, FastTrack's Vice President of RTW Products, stated, "We are very excited to add this innovative technology to our FastTrack RTW Life Waiver Tools. The initial client feedback has been very positive and we believe that these enhancements not only bring waiver of premium operations into the 21st century from a technology perspective, but will greatly impact the way all waiver of premium claims will be managed in the future."
