Once water has been added to the iDip (pool water, drinking water, etc.), data is sent to the app. Water test strips can be inserted directly into the iDip device, and that information is communicated to the smartphone app. All data can be stored on a smartphone, along with the test date and time for later access, allowing users to track water quality over time, which has significant implications for pool companies and other businesses.
