New website, iloveblackwomen.net will be a dating site inclusively for black women and those who are interested in dating them.
NEWPORT NEWS, Va., Sept. 4, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — After realizing a few undetected biases of several dating sites, entrepreneur Anthony Robinson honed in on one bias in particular. A new dating website inclusively for African American women, and those who wish to date black women, will be launching soon, called iloveblackwomen.net. The site focuses on matching black women with men of all ethnicities that are specifically interested in dating black women. Black women who are looking for love online will now have a site that will aid this purpose. iloveblackwomen.net is looking to increase black women's odds on this dating site by only allowing black women to join yet letting Black, White, Latino, Asian men and even women join the dating site that want to date black women.
There are two primary explanations behind Anthony Robinson's creation of iloveblackwomen.net. There are black women and men of various ethnicities who want to date each other yet may not know how or where it might be carried out. All the more significantly, the study titled "How Your Race Affects the Messages You Get," done by the dating site okcupid.com found the following:
1. Black women are the most ignored group on dating sites.
2. "Men seldom write black women back. Or rather, they write them back far less often than they should. Black women reply the most, yet get by far the fewest replies. Essentially every race—including other blacks—singles them out for the cold shoulder." – okcupid.com
Anthony Robinson expresses his own frustration when he stated, "This frustrated me a lot; black women pay upwards of $60 per month on dating sites but get ignored the most according to the okcupid study. These sites will take black women's money but are terrible at finding them love."
With iloveblackwomen.net there will be a unique search criteria that is tailored for black women to find men/women of all races that are interested in dating black women; iloveblackwomen.net will have a process that helps members make sure the profile photos are real and up-to-date. Finally, in the future, members can play online social games with video or traditional chat with other members such as online speed dating via webcam or chat, "Truth/Dare/or Drink," "Never have I ever" and much more.
