"Anyone who has used an iPad knows its limitations," said David McClintock, CMO of Xform Computing, "which include lack of support for not only Firefox but also Adobe® Flash® Player, Java applications, Browser 'Sync' and Browser Add-on/extensions. VirtualBrowser App delivers these key capabilities for Firefox fans on their iOS devices."

With VirtualBrowser users can stream Adobe Flash-based video player on iPad or iPhone from almost any site, as well as Flash-based games like FarmVille2 or ChefVille inside Facebook.com. The app also supports Adobe Flash-based education sites like Pearson MyMathLab, Muzzy Language, BBC Bitesize, PBS Kids games, productivity sites such as Prezi presentation editing, among others.

VirtualBrowser for Firefox also has broad support for delivering Java on iPad and iPhone including most Applets, JNLP and JAR files. Java is at the heart of many interactive websites but does not work natively on iOS. Examples include Java-based software and content from education sites such as Aleks.com, Kaplan, games like Runescape and thousands of business Java applications like Etrade Pro and NetDania NetStation, all enabled on iOS by Xform's VirtualBrowser apps.

Browser-integrated Add-ons and Extensions are another capability of VirtualBrowser that users can benefit from including: Yoono Toolbar, Adblock Plus, Stylish themes, Webdev tools like Firebug, and Evernote Web Clipper on iPad and iPhone.

VirtualBrowser for Firefox is part of a family of apps built on Xform's AlwaysOnPC cloud app Streaming Platform: Each time a user opens the app, it starts a secure session of the real 'desktop-class' Mozilla® Firefox® browser running virtually in Xform's Virtual Cloud hosting centers. This session is then transmitted (or 'streamed') and displayed by the VirtualBrowser app on the user's device.

Some App features are offered as Premium In-App service options such as streaming video, Java support, as well as installing and saving Firefox Add-ons, history and settings securely via Xform's Cloud. Learn more at http://vlt.me/virtualfirefox.
