Green Products Site TheSecondLeaf.com Launched During Earth Month by Industry-Leading Tech Document Management Firm

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas, April 13, 2009 — CBM Archives LLC, a tech document management firm, announces the launch of TheSecondLeaf.com ), a first-of-its-kind fully dedicated green office supply and technology store with products available to the consumer market. TheSecondLeaf.com fittingly debuts in April, designated as Earth Month.

CBM Archives' commitment to eliminating paper from the workplace led to the development of TheSecondLeaf.com, which assembles a vast amount of green products in one centralized location — making it easier and more affordable than ever for eco-minded organizations and individuals to purchase green.

"There are many complex issues surrounding our environment. It's our belief at CBM Archives that even small steps individually can make a significant combined impact," says H. Michael Lord, president and chief operating officer of CBM Archives. "CBM launched The Second Leaf with the intent of easing the effort expended trying to find products that reduce the negative impact on our environment. We believe people fundamentally want to do their part, but when taking action is overly complex, good intentions are often never fully realized."

TheSecondLeaf.com is a one-stop hub for all-green office supplies and technology, including offerings that are energy-saving, travel-saving, or consisting of pre/post-recycled consumer waste. Additional resources on the user-friendly website include consumer product reviews, product comparisons, and articles providing hints and tips on going green.

"We're very excited about our product offerings, the ease and automation of procurement, as well as being a part of positively contributing to environmental improvements. TheSecondLeaf.com shoppers can make more informed ecological purchasing decisions without the hassle of sorting through a mix of green and conventional products," states Lord.

CBM Archives diligently practices green operating procedures in its own offices each day.

"It has been a primary goal of CBM Archives for 17 years to promote the elimination of paper through the use of Imaging/Document Management Systems. This is not a goal only intended for our customers, but for ourselves as well," explains Nathan Chanyarlak, general manager, TheSecondLeaf.com. "Documents that enter the doors of the CBM corporate office are scanned, recycled, and imported into a digital document management system. We extensively use Web conferencing technologies in lieu of travel and perform most of our support through remote access to our customer's sites."
