Based in Orlando and serving the markets of Central and South Florida, GU Business has created a platform that informs, educates, certifies and incentivizes small to mid sized businesses on the benefits of green technologies and eco friendly alternatives.  The monthly subscription platform provides companies dynamic web listings, social media promotions, certification trust marks and unique incentives from Restaurant.com and The National Arbor Day Foundation. Subscription programs are available from $9.99 to $199 and range from one to 100 trees planted on the company's behalf every month.  CEO and Co-Founder, Lex Peek, says "It's not three trees per month per company that makes a difference, it's three trees and 100,000 companies that creates what we refer to as GREEN NOISE.  In a day and time where people make purchasing decisions based on causes and social responsibility, GU provides, promotes and showcases companies heading down that road to becoming more sustainable and doing the right thing, the GREEN thing.  Imagine the BBB, a place to shop with confidence knowing that the product and the company is a GREEN company, kind of like the GBB."

Chris Nault, CEO and Founder of Sugar Free Branding and long time advocate for a cleaner and greener space, is joining the team as a Co-Founder and CMO.  "Being GREEN is more than simply purchasing high efficiency lighting or adaptive solar paneling, it's about creating a lifestyle and leaving a cleaner planet for our children's children," says Nault. GU Business will be sponsoring Central Florida Earth Day on Saturday, April 19th from 10am-6pm at Lake Eola in Downtown Orlando.  Admission is free and there will be over 250 vendors, live music, demonstrations, seminars, food and activities.
