Sheehy Auto Stores was founded by Vince Sheehy, Sr. in 1966 with Sheehy Ford, a small, suburban family-owned car dealership off what was at that time the new Washington, D.C. Beltway. Today, 50 years later, Sheehy Auto Stores is the 37th largest automotive dealer group in the nation with 23 dealerships.
Still family-owned, Sheehy Auto Stores has grown to more than $1 billion in sales with 35,000 new and used vehicles sold each year. The company has expanded and now operates stores in and around Baltimore, Annapolis, Washington, D.C. and Richmond.
