NASHVILLE, Tenn., Oct. 3, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — Gene Sibbett, a hit Nashville music producer has just launched a unique Kickstarter project titled; "Laff yer ass off." It's a hilarious album of country and rock parodies.

"Laff yer ass off" is a side splitting music project. It is unique because participates engage in the process; writing several song titles, lunch and dinner with artists, and a May 2014 concert with the producers and artists.
Sibbett claims that although they call the album an R-Rated parody project, songs do not reach that level. "There are no "F" words or anything like that in any song" "and numerous PG movies are worse than these parodies" and Sibbett says, "Our project also has accompanying music videos that will make your guts ache with laughter."
The goal is to make the project fun and everyone is invited to participate. A list of the songs and complete details can be found at the Kickstarter website and Sibbett says; "if these songs don't make you laugh I'll eat your shoe sideways." His team has selected hit country and rock songs to parody. According to Sibbett, the artists and musicians have "had a ball" recording the album.
The album features top shelf talent and production, 18 unique & hilarious tunes — plus bonus tunes lampooning country & rock hits and was recorded by many of the finest studio musicians in the industry. Sibbett is a Nashville producer who has produced and co-produced artists who have numerous top #10 hits to their credit.
The album is slated for 18 songs but contributors will come up with a song title for the 19th and 20th songs. Sibbett says all 18 songs are instrumentally tracked and needing just a few touchups. Some of the vocals still need tracked and about 1/2 of the songs are mixed and ready for mastering.
