NEW YORK, May 9, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — Hudson Insurance Group ("Hudson") and Crum & Forster ("C&F") are pleased to announce a strategic combination of their Environmental Liability businesses. Effective May 19, 2014, Hudson's environmental staff and its corresponding book of business will transfer to Crum & Forster. The combined unit will report to Mark Brown, senior vice president at C&F.

All inforce Hudson environmental policies will remain in effect and any new and renewal business underwritten by Hudson staff will continue to be written into Hudson until its policy systems are fully integrated with C&F's. Once this process is completed, it is expected that as Hudson policies naturally expire they will be renewed into a Crum & Forster company.
