WASHINGTON, June 5, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — The immigration reform group known as Americans for Legal Immigration (http://www.alipac.us) is launching a wave of radio ads, social media ads, and automated calls into Virginia and South Carolina today to thank U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham and Congressman Eric Cantor for supporting amnesty for undocumented immigrants.

Both Senator Graham and Eric Cantor have gone on the record supporting a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants that would give more than ten million undocumented immigrants access to participation in U.S. elections, better healthcare, education, unemployment insurance, welfare and child subsidies, and more better-paying jobs!

"We want all of the voters of Virginia and South Carolina to thank Congressman Cantor and Senator Graham on Election Day for supporting immigration reform amnesty!" said William Gheen, President of Americans for Legal Immigration PAC. "Graham and Cantor have proven that they will bring tens of millions of undocumented workers, students, and voters out of the shadows by changing our existing laws to accommodate them and those that employ them!"

Senator Lindsey Graham voted for and passed Senate Bill 744 last year that would change our existing laws to allow illegal immigrants to stay and become voters and workers. This bill was stopped by anti-amnesty Republicans in the US House, but Eric Cantor has promised Speaker John Boehner and President Obama that he will get amnesty through Congress if he wins his primary next Tuesday against David Brat. Now Graham is facing several GOP primary challengers and is struggling to get the 50% of votes he needs to avoid a runoff against the leading challenger Lee Bright.

Anti-Amnesty Republicans have mounted GOP primary challengers against Graham and Cantor in a bid to derail immigration reform amnesty and that is why Americans for Legal Immigration PAC will try to reach as many of these voters as possible by phone and radio by Election Day next Tuesday, June 10!
