Industry Veteran Scott Hook Joins Coldwell Banker Commercial Alliance Orange County Office

Top Commercial Real Estate Producer Joins Growing Southern California Firm

IRVINE, Calif., Jan. 28, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — The Orange County, California office of Coldwell Banker Commercial (CBC) Alliance, a national real estate services firm dedicated to serving private investors and small to midsize corporate users of real estate, has announced that commercial real estate brokerage veteran Scott Hook has formed Hook Retail Advisors and joined the firm as an Executive Vice President and Director of Retail Investments.

Mr. Hook brings over twenty-seven years of Southern California regional commercial real estate experience to the firm, having exclusively listed and sold numerous multi-tenant shopping centers as well as single tenant triple net leased investments throughout his career. He has brokered over $1 billion in transactions, including the $20 million sale of the Walmart/ Sam's Club Anchored Towne Park Plaza shopping center in Albuquerque, NM, a $14.4 million Walgreens anchored center in Mission Viejo, CA, and the Vons/CVS anchored center in Costa Mesa, CA.

He joins CBC Alliance from the Newport Beach office of Marcus & Millichap, where he most recently served as First Vice President Investments. He spent over twenty years with Marcus & Millichap and was also the recipient of several National Achievement and Sales Recognition Awards throughout his tenure with the firm. He first served with Grubb & Ellis in the early part of his career for over six years and earned "National Rookie of Year" plus numerous sales awards.

Mr. Hook holds a degree in Finance & Marketing from the University of Southern California (USC) and also studied Architecture at Cal Poly Pomona University and Communications/Debate at Cambridge University in England.  Mr. Hook was first employed by the Xerox Corporation for two years before entering the commercial real estate industry.

Mr. Hook spends time with numerous youth sports organizations, as well as Children's Hospital of Orange County (CHOC), Boys and Girls Club, Big Brother & Sisters, and "Autism Speaks" organization.
