International Coach Federation 2015 Global Board Elections Finalized

Wondra, Petrauskiene and Barr elected officers; Leong and Natarajan join as directors.

LEXINGTON, Ky., Jan. 20, 2015 /PRNewswire/ — Elections for the International Coach Federation (ICF) 2015 Global Board of Directors have been finalized with the naming of this year's Vice Chair, Leda Turai Petrauskiene, MCC (Lithuania), and Secretary/Treasurer, Peter Barr, MCC (Australia). Supporting 2015 ICF Global Board Chair Dave Wondra, PCC (USA), Petrauskiene and Barr will work with a diverse team, including newly elected ICF Global Board members Wai K. Leong, MCC (Malaysia), and Bhaskar Natarajan, PCC (India), to lead the advancement of the coaching profession.

Wondra was elected to the post of 2015 ICF Global Board Chair in November 2014. He is the founder of WondraGroup, an Executive Coaching practice that helps leaders find the one thing that improves results for themselves and their organizations. He is the author of several articles on leadership, purpose and renewal, and serves as an adjunct graduate faculty member at the University of Saint Thomas.

Petrauskiene joined the ICF Global Board in January 2014. She is a Leadership and Executive Coach, trainer, and Coach Supervisor, with more than 15 years of international work experience in for-profit and nonprofit organizations.

Barr has been a member of the ICF Global Board since 2013 and also served as Secretary/Treasurer in 2014. He is the founder and visionary of Ingenius People (formerly Ingenius Coaching), and has 13 years of experience coaching high-level achievers in corporations, businesses, sport and life to peak performance.

"In the next 12 months, I will strive to ensure that ICF funds are used as effectively, prudently and diligently as possible to maximize the success of our vision, while at the same time innovating and always asking the hard questions about how we can continue to grow, evolve and be effective for each and every ICF Member," Barr said.

Leong and Natarajan, the new additions to the 2015 Global Board, were elected to two-year terms in November 2014. Leong has more than 25 years of leadership experience and more than 2,500 hours of Executive Coaching experience. Natarajan has more than a decade of cumulative experience in Executive Coaching, talent management, leadership development, performance consulting, sales and human resources.

Additional 2015 ICF Global Board members include Immediate Past Chair Damian Goldvarg, Ph.D., MCC (Argentina/USA), and Directors Pat Mathews, MCC (USA), and Hilary Oliver, PCC (United Kingdom).
