Six ICF Chapters from around the globe recognized during March 5 ceremony.
LEXINGTON, Ky., March 6, 2015 /PRNewswire/ — The International Coach Federation (ICF) presented six chapters with 2014 ICF Chapter Awards at a March 5, 2015, ceremony held during ICF's 2015 Global Leaders Forum in Atlanta, Georgia, USA.

Three ICF Chapters were honored with the I Care For Award, which recognizes ICF Chapters that have established a significant coaching presence in their communities through nonprofit partnerships and/or pro bono coaching initiatives.
ICF Singapore won the I Care For Award for large chapters (more than 250 members) for its Coaches for Community initiative, designed to deliver pro bono coaching to leaders and beneficiaries of several nonprofit organizations.
ICF Argentina received the I Care For Award for medium chapters (151 – 250 members) for its partnership with Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) to deliver programming rooted in ICF's Core Competencies to RMHC volunteers and guests.
ICF Hungary was recognized with the I Care For Award for small chapters (150 members or fewer) for delivering the "Coach Up!" program to managers from the American Chamber of Commerce in Hungary's 400 member businesses.
The Breaking Barriers Award recognizes ICF Chapters that demonstrate outstanding success in one or more of the following areas:
- Exceptional membership growth
- Innovative special event
- Creative strategic alliances with allied organizations
- Extraordinary fundraising efforts
- Impactful media relations programs
- Other notable achievements or activities
ICF Washington State won the Breaking Barriers Award for large chapters for its successful adoption of the ICF Prism Award to strengthen the chapter's relationship with allied professionals from the human resources, training and development, and organizational development sectors.
ICF Colorado won the Breaking Barriers Award for medium chapters for "Unleashing the Authentic Leader Within," a one-day conference targeting coaches, leaders and executives and drawing more than 110 attendees, 70 percent of whom were not already chapter members.
ICF New Mexico won the Breaking Barriers Award for small chapters for a rebuilding initiative that moved the chapter from the brink of dissolution to a coveted position as North America's leader in ICF Chapter Member retention.
