CALGARY, Alberta, March 30, 2010 — Although agoraphobic, author Jenna Lindsey travels with her characters in her novels via her creative storytelling ability. Resolving to understand what is happening to her and why, Jinnie finally discovers the horrible truth behind her strange existence and the wrenching emptiness that underlies the words "I love you."
Author Jenna Lindsey chose the settings in her novel because she likes the idea of traveling, even if it's by way of her vivid imagination, to far-off lands, perhaps worlds. Readers will be led to consider – what if a daydream became an alternate reality? But then, what if that reality became a nightmare? Those two questions will make these readers want to solve the puzzle of Jinnie's existence while discovering the assembled pieces that lead to a happy ending.
About the Author
Jenna Lindsey was born in Ontario, Canada. It was her grandfather's appreciation of a good story that encouraged Jenna to voraciously read and begin writing stories of her own. She attended the Banff School of Fine Arts in Alberta and wrote her first novella at the age of fourteen. In spite of an increasing hearing impairment, the author spent three years in Calgary as a professional singer before moving to Vancouver. There, inspired by the ocean, she wrote her first novel "Quest for Evil: The Magic of the Key" (published by iUniverse). Jenna won an award for her short story "The Ring of the Bell" and is presently working on a third novel. She lives with her husband, Jerry, in Calgary with three impatient cats.
