Junior Golf Tournaments for Fall 2013 Now Available for Online Registration

FCWT looks forward to 17th season of Junior Golf

CLEARWATER, Fla., July 18, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — The Future Collegians World Tour is pleased to announce that all FCWT tournaments for fall 2013 are now available for online registration.  The fall tournaments for the 2013-2014 Future Collegians World Tour will debut at TPC of Tampa Bay, September 28-29, 2013.  The FCWT began playing this 36-hole venue designed by Bobby Weed in 2006.  The 18-hole par 71 course has seen Won Jun Lee of Seoul, KOREA earn two consecutive wins.  Will 2013 be a three-peat?

The weekend of October 5-6, 2013, the FCWT returns to the Kampen Course at the Birck Boilermaker Complex at Purdue University.  The FCWT has been conducting junior golf tournaments at this venue for over 10 years.  The course is a Pete Dye design, links-style, par-72 championship golf course featuring large bent-grass greens, fairways and tees.  Previous champions include Michael Makris, Jonathan Schram, and Al Jennings III. The following weekend,the FCWT travels to a new venue for 2013, Disney's Lake Buena Vista Golf Club.  This course was rated 4 stars by Golf Digest.  Also during the weekend of October 12-13, the FCWT will be in America's heartland, conducting our first FCWT junior golf tournament at the Alvamar Golf Club in Lawrence, Kansas.  The third weekend in October (19th – 20th), the FCWT will return to the number one rated golf course in the state of Rhode Island:  Newport National Golf Club.  From there, the Tour returns to the Midwest the weekend of October 26-27th for a junior golf tournament at the Warren Golf Course at Notre Dame as well as a separate tournament at Falcon's Fire Golf Club in Kissimmee, FL.

The November slate of tournaments kicks off at the Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club in Naples, FL, always a popular venue for the FCWT.  The FCWT also makes its West Coast debut the weekend of November 2-3 at the highly acclaimed Karsten Golf Course at Arizona State University.  The FCWT will travel further West for the weekend of November 9-10, 2013, to the Coyote Creek Golf Club in San Jose, CA.  The FCWT will return to Florida to the Mystic Dunes Resort & Golf Club for the weekend of November 16-17, 2013, then back to AZ for the FCWT at the Omni Tucson National, November 23-24, 2013.  Over the Thanksgiving holiday, the FCWT will be in the Orlando area at Champions Gate for a 54-hole junior golf tournament.

December starts at the Mark Bostick Golf Course at the University of Florida, December 7-8, 2013.  For the 14th and the 15th of December, the FCWT will be in Rancho Mirage, CA, at the Mission Hills Resort on the Pete Dye Course.  There will also be a junior golf tournament at Eagle Creek Golf Club in Orlando, December 14-15, 2013.  The Tour returns to the Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, AZ, to play the Raptor Course, December 21-22, 2013.  Between Christmas and New Year's the FCWT has three different junior golf tournaments:  one at TPC of Las Vegas, December 27-28, 2013, followed by PGA West Nicklaus & Stadium Courses in CA, December 30-31, 2013, and back on the East Coast at the FCWT at TPC Sawgrass Stadium Course, December 30-31, 2013, just in time to ring in the New Year.
