The Report looks back at the evolving growth of the organization over its 20 year anniversary in 2013, while portraying the scope and impact of its work in that year, it also seeks to look forward to Larta's plans for the future.
Some key milestones in Larta's growth are presented in the Report: the context for its founding amid the economic turmoil in California in the early 1990s, Larta's creation of a global platform for entrepreneurs, starting with Scandinavia in 1997, the inking of a partnership with its federal agency partners in the early 2000s, all of which has led to considerable impact and work with 9,700 entrepreneurs in 20 countries as of 2013. In 2013 alone, Larta assisted 463 entrepreneurs developing solutions to the world's food, energy and health concerns.

Larta has established strong momentum in its work with entrepreneurs, and social impact for the innovations it has brought forward. But its legacy is still being built as it looks to the future. President and Chief Operating Officer Constanza Pachon calls Larta's 20th year "an inflection point for us as an organization." She specifically calls out Larta's creation of a for-profit subsidiary, and the fact that the organization is now "primed to deploy new initiatives that will enable us to undertake activities outside of the work prescribed by our service contracts."
