Law Offices of Robert Vaage File Wrongful Death and Personal Injury Suit on Behalf of the Family of Mrs. Graciela Bustos

SAN DIEGO, March 3, 2015 /PRNewswire/ — The Law Offices of Robert Vaage announced today that the family of Mrs. Graciela Bustos has filed a wrongful death and personal injury lawsuit related to the fatal automobile accident on March 15, 2014.

According to Bustos family attorney Robert Vaage, Mr. and Mrs. Bustos were traveling on Wildcat Canyon Road when their car was struck head-on by an SUV driven by Andres William De La Paz Toro, a tribal enforcement officer for the Barona Band of Mission Indians, who crossed over the double yellow lines into oncoming traffic.  Mr. Bustos sustained permanent, serious injuries, and his wife was mortally injured. Despite resuscitation efforts at the scene, Mrs. Bustos was pronounced dead at the hospital.

"Mr. Bustos was watching his wife die, and even with his injuries, he tried to flag down other drivers for help.  Complete strangers pulled over to help this couple," said Vaage. "Our requests to resolve the matter through the Barona Band of Mission Indians before filing this lawsuit were ignored."

The case is Jose Bustos, Omar Bustos, Graciela Bustos and Carlos Bustos vs. Andres William De La Paz Toro and DOES 1 to 10, (Case No. 37-2015-00006140-CU-PA-CTL in the Superior Court of California, County of San Diego, Central Branch).
