Better than a Letter: Parents Prove Santa's Existence with Capture the Magic Software

Featured in The Wall Street Journal and The Washington Post, capturethemagic.com unveils new site to help families create holiday memories

LEESBURG, Va., Dec. 10, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — Just in time for Christmas, Capture the Magic has upgraded their photo-making software on capturethemagic.com. Capture the Magic allows users to instantly upload a photo of their living room and insert one of hundreds of Santa images into the photo, creating proof of Santa's visit for curious children.

Images are created in three easy steps. Parents simply take a photo of the area they want to "catch" Santa – by the fireplace, Christmas tree, or eating cookies – and upload to capturethemagic.com. Next, the parent selects their Santa from hundreds of poses. Finally, the parent can download the completed photo to share with their kids and exclaim, "I caught Santa!"

The story created about capturing him in the act is up to the parent, but Capture the Magic makes it effortless to provide actual evidence.

"During this special time of the year, it is important to maintain traditions and keep the magic alive for our children," says company founder Jim Hallihan. "I created this site to surprise my own two children on Christmas morning. Capture the Magic's software is better than a letter from Santa, and so easy that an elf could use it!"

With the enhanced website, users can drop, drag, and resize Santa images into various poses and then immediately download the completed picture to their computers or smartphones. Advanced editing tools include lightening and brightening Santa, and even a blur feature for a realistic look.

"I absolutely can't say enough wonderful things about Capture the Magic," long time user Cheryl Corrington says. "The memories they have given my girls the last 3 years can't be topped."

As mentioned in The Wall Street Journal and The Washington Post as one of the best and innovative websites for Christmas, Capture the Magic has created memories and delighted children and adults alike around the world.  Visit www.capturethemagic.com and try it for free using the demo photo provided. Multi-holiday packages are available for purchase.
