"Amazon is changing the business landscape," explains Anderson. "Unlimited variety is assumed, same-day service is the norm, and 24/7 accessibility with easy returns and exchanges is expected. Businesses must rise to the occasion if they wish to compete and survive—let alone thrive."

Anderson will use proprietary research to substantiate the impact Amazon has had on everything from customer service to product offering, as the basis of her presentation.  More importantly, she will cover what improvements businesses can make right now to stay relevant to customers and the strategies they need to enact to remain competitive. Anderson will show attendees how to find their "sweet spot" with the 5Ps of people, processes, plans, profit drivers and priorities to accelerate and create a customer service edge.

All members, non-members and students are encouraged to pre-register as at the door rates are higher. For information about Lisa Anderson, go to http://www.lma-consultinggroup.com/ or call 909.630.3943.  The Amazon Effect, a soon-to-be-released book covering the research and detailed strategies to offset these new speed and offering challenges, will be available soon.
