HELSINKI, Finland, Feb. 3, 2009 — Macecraft Software announced today the release of the latest version of jv16 PowerTools, a Windows registry and maintenance utility suite. The version, called jv16 PowerTools 2009, builds upon the strength of the previous installments and introduces several new, innovative features.
In terms of capabilities, jv16 PowerTools 2009 acts as a complete Windows optimization and registry cleaning toolkit. It optimizes, repairs, and maintains Windows-based PCs making them run faster, safer, and free of problems.

The jv16 PowerTools 2009 can be installed over the latest version of jv16 PowerTools 2008 but not over any earlier version. Updating from PT 2008 will thus conserve any data, such as backups, registry snapshots or settings.
The Handbook of jv16 PowerTools 2009 is also ready and published with the product. The initial release of the product only contains a few translations (Chinese, Dutch and Russian). Updated version with more translations will be released shortly.
